grounded in expertise, guided by care
I’m Dr. Emma Carter, a Clinical Psychologist with a foundation built on intensive clinical training, advanced specialization, and years of experience in high-acuity and complex settings.
My work is shaped by a commitment to clinical excellence and a belief that the strongest care combines solid expertise with real human connection.
I have pursued advanced training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR/SAFE EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE). I’ve also had the privilege of supervising, training, and leading clinicians across a range of specialized settings.
My background reflects a blend of strong clinical foundations, continuous professional growth, and a wholehearted investment in the people I serve.
